10 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling (23 Feb)

4. The Real World Champion

Following his post-match assault on Jake Something, spearing him through a corner-propped table, Moose demanded his World Championship bout against Rich Swann, with Swann still out injured following No Surrender. Scott D'Amore instead gave him a different championship match, though, officially deeming the TNA World Heavyweight Championship a sanctioned Impact title.

This was great.

This story has been brewing for just under a year now. It was last year's Rebellion where 'Mr. Impact Wrestling' brought the championship back to the Impact Zone while the official World Champion Tessa Blanchard was absent. With the belt now sanctioned under Impact management, it allows for more variety from Moose. He's too good to not be a champion.
