10 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory 2019
6. Tag Team War
The ending of the bout may have been atrocious, but that takes nothing away from the amazing World Tag Team Championships encounter. Just like the three way at Slammiversary that saw The North retain over LAX and The Rascalz, this was another wonderful showcase of Impact's tag team division.
Each participant got in all of their offence, but the star of the match was certainly Willie Mack. He's a prime example of why being a larger wrestler doesn't always prevent you being athletic, as he was busting out 619s, frog splashes, and somersault dives like his life depended on winning the match. Due to the sheer talent that's in the Impact locker room these days, you sometimes forget just how good some of the guys are, with Willie Mack sadly coming under that category on occasion.
Ethan Page and Josh Alexander would end up retaining their titles after downing Rich Swann following RVD's aforementioned rampage after turning on Rhino. This was the best possible result. It wouldn't have been too bad if Swann and Mack had walked away the new champions, but it certainly shouldn't have been the ECW duo.
