10 Ways The Move To TV Has Ruined WWE NXT
9. Flat Divisions
NXT's divisions vary in terms of quality. The main championship picture is packed with top-tier talent, although they do lack in the good guys department (which we'll speak about in a future point), whereas the women's division has consistently built new stars naturally (cc: Rhea Ripley, Tegan Nox, Dakota Kai, Io Shirai, and countless others).
As for the tag team division? They haven't received quite the same treatment.
You see, The Undisputed Era (primarily, Kyle O'Reilly and either Bobby Fish or Roderick Strong, depending on the scenario) have been at the forefront of the doubles division since their arrival in August 2017. Amassing four reigns as NXT Tag Team Champions between them, the entire doubles division since that fateful night has essentially been UE vs. someone. Whether it be Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch, The Viking Raiders, or The Street Profits, there wasn't much of a change for quite a while, especially when NXT expanded to two hours
Of course, this has now slightly changed, with The BroserWeights, Imperium, and now Breezango all having reigns as the NXT tag champions while UE engage in other business (thank you, Dexter Lumis), but the fact it took this long for change to happen is baffling.
NXT have plenty of formidable duos, so long as they're used correctly.
