Sting versus The Undertaker is quite possibly the biggest unrealized dream match in professional wrestling history. Fans saw Hulk Hogan versus Ric Flair, they saw John Cena versus The Rock, but they have never seen The Phenom versus The Icon. That is the one last great moment that fans want and they want it now. Taker and Sting may not be in their prime anymore but the fact is, that does not make a difference. For the the first time since Undertaker was Mean Mark Callous in WCW, he and Sting are employed by the same company. Of course, that was long before The Undertaker and Sting's Crow gimmick was born. Now that both men have had their careers, it could be time to put the exclamation mark at the end. For many fans, this is a must-see match. Indeed, there should be no reason why it can't happen; working Sting is not like working Brock Lesnar, as Taker would not be as physically tested in the ring. Sting is happy to finally be part of WWE and would love nothing more than to face off against The Deadman. The players are in position and they are in the right company to promote it. WWE can manufacture a buildup like no other company in pro wrestling history and by the time the match arrived, fans would be at a fever pitch. The Undertaker deserves one last great match for his legendary career and Sting is the perfect opponent to provide that match.
