Cosmetic surgery is obviously a huge decision for any male or female wrestler – they are altering their bodies permanently, with it having various advantages and disadvantages. It’s been known to boost wrestlers’ mental health by helping them feel more comfortable and confident in the ring. By fixing and altering their appearance to help with their insecurities, their self-esteem improves, consequently improving their matches and promos.

But on the other side of it, some wrestlers aren’t completely satisfied with the changes to their bodies, with some procedures going awry and other performers becoming addicted to surgery.

WWE’s female roster, before they rocketed from pre-shows to main events, were once only used as a bra and panties side-show attraction for the 18-35 male demographic. Because of this, a long list of female performers opted to go under the knife to make alterations to their bodies to help their positioning in the company. Conflicting reports range on whether WWE pressured talent into this or not.

Jim Ross (former Vice President of Talent Relations for WWE) previously defended WWE when asked if its roster were urged to undergo plastic surgery:

“Nope. Sure didn’t. Didn’t step in that territory because you are defenceless if something goes awry. It’s got to be a personal decision by the talent. If they believe it will enhance their TV persona and their overall look, then that is going to be their call. Now if they needed time off or some money to help, then we had done those types of things, but that was always based on the talent’s decision. It wasn’t my place to tell someone to get a boob job.”

Brie Bella, however, has gone on record as being asked by WWE producers of the Diva Search to get implants:

"I understand they had to have some weird questions. But there were a couple I wasn’t too comfortable with. They talked about my breasts. I didn’t have big ones. They asked if I would allow them to pay for me to have a boob job. I literally stood on stage and I was looking around like, what? They were like, well you guys don’t have breasts. I’m like, I’m so confused what’s going on right now. But you know, they’re making TV.”

For that dream push, here are the ten surgeries/procedures wrestlers commonly seek.
