10 Ways WWE 2K14 Is Better Than Actual WWE Television

4. Better Commentary

For a computer game, the commentary in WWE 2K14 is pretty good. It isn't all that repetitive, it's fairly appropriate to the action, and it adds some drama to your matches. In this rehearsed environment where he is strictly calling the action, Michael Cole is actually much better at commentating than he is in real life. There are none of the flusters he has when doing the job for real, nor are there any of the overly enthusiastic squeals. Strangely, the game improves Cole drastically by cutting back his lines. The real point where 2K14 is better than Raw for commentary is when you play historical matches. Fans are treated to Jim Ross calling the matches again, and in true J.R fashion he does an extraordinarily great job. Why on earth Vince McMahon couldn't have J.R still calling Raw to this day is beyond most people. Ross's work on 2k14 proves he's still got it.
