7. Be Outrageous

Going Viral is a new world invention; the closest previous generations came was probably You’ve Been Framed. Now, however, things can be spread across the globe and watched by millions in a matter of hours. With their eyes locked firmly on Instagram feeds and Snapchat stories, going viral is the way to get teens’ attentions. Kids love to show each other the latest gross out video or absurd ‘social experiment' gone wrong.

WWE needs to capture this and create content that has to be shared, even better shared in person so you can see the other person’s reaction. What this could be is anyone’s guess. But what is certain, throw enough of it at the wall, something will stick. WWE has, seemingly, thousands of writers at its disposal, high end video production equipment and editing suites. They have hundreds of millions of dollars and a global reach of potentially billions of fans across the globe. They must take advantage of this.

It could be the off the wall freaky athleticism of Ricochet, Lars Sullivan puking on a luchadore, or Seth Rollins’ testicle popping out of his shorts. If WWE wants to appeal to this audience, they need moments that have to be shared, whether because they're awe inspiring or gross or simply too stupid to be ignored. WWE need to get teens want to share their content.
