10 Ways WWE Can Make Live Events Matter Again
5. Autograph Signings
Indie wrestling events (and even some of the bigger promotions) have autograph tables at their shows where fans can meet their favourite wrestlers and buy their merchandise. WWE may very well think they're bigger than that, but what better way to attract fans than giving them the opportunity to meet Superstars?
Right now, they frequently offer pricey VIP experiences which include ringside seats, a photo opportunity with a replica of the WWE Championship, and a meet and greet with a random Superstar whose identity isn't revealed in advance. That's never going to fly with casual fans, and so an alternative could be a smart move.
Even if we're talking about lower tier talent like Cedric Alexander, Mojo Rawley, or Dana Brooke, wrestling fans would still take the opportunity to meet them and knowing that's a possibility at these live events might massively increase interest. It's ultimately a minor thing, but if it's an added bonus included in the ticket price, no one will be unhappy.
