9. Making An Example Of Him After The Nexus' Debut
During the now infamous debut of The Nexus, one spot went too far in the eyes of the WWE. Ring announcer Justin Roberts had previously been attacked by some of the other Nexus members who had stripped him of his suit jacket and shirt. His tie remained around his neck and Bryan, ever looking to legitimise the business, saw fit to strangle Roberts. It's what any rogue thug would do, right? However, WWE deemed the spot too violet for their PG programming and decided to unceremoniously fire Bryan from the WWE. Was the spot even that violent? There's been numerous occasions since then that have made the strangling pale in significance. Bryan was just plain unlucky. Happily, WWE rehired Bryan and apologised to him for his release, claiming that they "had sponsors they had to deal with".
