6. Booking A Traditional Survivor Series Match
This week's Raw was a surprisingly wrestling heavy affair with a notable lack of the promos we've come to expect at certain points in the show. With Cesaro, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler, Neville, and Kevin Owens all delivering such incredible work though, that's far from a bad thing, but what was up with that lack of any sort of build up to a traditional five on five Survivor Series match? This is one booking decision which can't in any way be blamed on Seth Rollins' sudden departure. Instead, it seems as if WWE Creative has completely forgotten the fact that these are an iconic part of the yearly event, and the best we can hope for at this stage is likely something hastily being thrown together on SmackDown or during the week for the preshow. That's massively disappointing, especially as these matches tend to have major consequences or play a role in getting a certain Superstar over with the WWE Universe in a major way. Going back to The New Day, seeing as they currently have no one to defend their tag team titles against on Sunday, them leading the charge in one of these five on five affairs could have been a lot of fun. The point is, some sort of storyline could have been set up here in order to make one of these matches feasible, but the lazy Creative team have unfortunately overlooked them for some reason this year.
