10 WCW Stars That Would Have Saved The Invasion

6. Kevin Nash

Kevin Nash had been part of the infamous nWo formation in 1996. Jumping over from the WWF that Summer, Nash instantly maintained his status as one of the biggest names in pro wrestling. Associated with the likes of Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan, the big man was on fire. By 2001, he was still kicking around WCW, albeit to less fanfare. His tenure as booker hadn't really been a success, and there were many who felt he was simply self-serving. Liked by many for his cool, laid-back attitude, 'Big Sexy' would have been welcomed into the WWF. Friendly with the likes of The Undertaker, Nash likely wouldn't have suffered the same frosty reception as DDP, for example. Even if the WWF couldn't cut a deal with Scott Hall, they should have been tripping over themselves to bring Nash in. The company did offer him a similar deal to DDP, taking a massive pay cut to come in, but he turned it down. Nobody can really blame the guy, he was getting paid by AOL/Time Warner to sit at home and watch TV.
