The Royal Rumble has been around longer than a good chunk of WWE’s fanbase has been alive, building a long, storied history along the way. The popular event also has amassed a significant and varied series of records.

But as the saying goes, records were made to be broken, and the 2024 Royal Rumble PLE saw several rarities materialize and records fall during the evening. Cody Rhodes became the first wrestler in 26 years to repeat as a Rumble winner, besting 29 men in both 2023 and 2024. The last man to accomplish this feat was “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, who won his second consecutive Rumble in 1998 (and he’d win a record third in 2001).

On the women’s side, Bayley won her first Rumble, and in doing so, she set the longevity record, entering at #3 and lasting 63 minutes, breaking Rhea Ripley’s record 61-minute run the previous year. The Role Model last eliminated Liv Morgan, who became the first woman to be runner-up in consecutive years (two men have pulled off this feat).

Additionally, Kofi Kingston entered his 16th Rumble, which is the most among active WWE wrestlers. Expect more records, both well-known and obscure, to fall at the 2025 Rumble.
