Kevin Nash suffered a torn biceps muscle in 2002, but after a few months on the shelf, he was ready to return to Monday Night Raw alongside fellow nWo members Shawn Michaels, The Big Show, and X-Pac.

Nash's first match back was a ten-men tag on Raw, teaming with his nWo associates and other heels against the brand's top babyfaces. Nash tagged in to face Booker T and took him down with a big boot, but when he ran to the babyface corner to clean house, things got weird. As soon as Nash made contact with Bubba Ray Dudley, he collapsed to the mat, holding his leg and screaming in pain. The other wrestlers flooded the ring, taking the focus off Nash, who laid in the corner until the finish. After that, he was helped to back and it was discovered that he had torn his quadriceps muscle.

Nash already had a reputation as a not-very-talented, less-than-athletic worker. Tearing his quad while walking didn't help any.
