10 Wild Predictions For What Triple H's WWE Will Look Like In 5 Years

1. It Isn't Triple H's WWE

Nick Khan
WWE

Is this prediction even that wild?

In this Vince McMahon-less wrestling world, it's still hard to imagine the door to WWE's fanciest office being a revolving one, but he was a huge rule-proving exception before he resigned in disgrace.

Eric Bischoff held down the top job in WCW for longer than anybody else, but a laundry list of names came and went either side of his mid-1990s tenure. TNA/Impact the same, and territories long before all of them. When it wasn't creative, financial or administrative decision-makers shuffling around, it was owners themselves. Companies were bought and sold by more than just Fathers and Sons, and it's perhaps why McMahon always seemed to think his multi-billion dollar empire was still a Mom-and-Pop shop at heart.

Triple H has the job, but to assume that's for life rather than for now would ignore wrestling history writ large. Not least with the unashamedly brutal Nick Khan still kicking around too.

WWE will be judged and scrutinised like never before in the first few years of the Paul Levesque era and - unlike nnnnnnnnDadddddduh's spot - shareholders won't be so afraid to force him out if they're not happy with what they see.
