10 Winners And Losers From WWE Elimination Chamber 2018
5. Winner: Nia Jax
Nia Jax may not have won her match with Asuka but she was the last woman standing and rode a tidal wave of momentum coming out of Sunday's show.
Not only was Jax dominant in her match with the Empress of Tomorrow, she left the undefeated Superstar lying after tackling her through the timekeeper's position following their bout. The fans reacted favorably, popping for Jax as she made her way to the locker room and suggesting WWE Creative's efforts with The Irresistible Force are working.
Like Braun Strowman a year ago, Jax is getting over for her no-nonsense, butt-kicking ways. She is determined to win matches and head to WrestleMania and if she does not, the Superstar who stands in her way is sure to suffer for it.
The strength of her booking Sunday night created a scenario in which fans are equally as excited and interested in seeing her head to WrestleMania to challenge for the Raw Women's Championship as they are Asuka.
That is a testament not only to the writing team but also to Jax, who has done a superb job of taking the material she has been given and delivering performances that encourage investment from fans and the trust of management.
