AJ Styles remains one of the best-booked superstars in all of WWE, thanks to a creative team that recognizes his greatness and books him like an old-school fighting champion.

The Phenomenal One withstood an Attitude Adjustment on Sunday night and delivered a Phenomenal Forearm to Kevin Owens to retain his title in a match also involving John Cena, Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin.

He fought off a numbers disadvantage and conquered adversity to win the match, keep his title and cash his ticket to WrestleMania 34 and a date with Shinsuke Nakamura. He did it in a way that is unlike John Cena or Roman Reigns. He does it without pandering to the audience or looking to them for acceptance. He is an athlete and when he sees the proverbial scoreboard is not in his favor, he turns in a performance stronger and better than ever before to pull out the W.

He is a babyface different than others under McMahon's umbrella and the fans appreciate it. They appreciate that he says he is great and backs it up between the ropes. Sunday night he did just that.
