Al’s initial appearances were innocuous enough, until it became apparent that Torrie’s rival Dawn Marie was attempting to seduce the man as a means of tormenting her. This eventually led to (you guessed it), Al proposing to Dawn, although Al probably wasn’t expecting his marriage to end so badly when the two tied the knot in their underwear on an episode of Smackdown in early 2003.

In the weeks leading up to the wedding, it was revealed that Dawn was actually interested in Torrie, and that she would call the marriage off if Torrie agreed to spend the night with her. Spend the night they did… but Dawn decided to go through with marrying Al anyway, which led to the old man dying of a heart attack because of too much sex.

Next time you complain about your own rocky relationships, just be thankful you’re not the step-daughter of a woman roughly the same age as you, who killed your dad mid-coitus.
