Oh, sorry, slip of the keyboard there. Let's try that again - Oh God, it's Snooki!

For those who managed to remain blessedly unaware of Jersey Shore (and are now irrevocably tainted by the knowledge of its existence – sorry about that), it's a reality TV show about a group of socially dysfunctional *rseholes blundering from one stage-managed crisis to the next. So basically every reality show ever, except this time the cast all have excruciating New Jersey accents so are about as much fun to listen to as your own mother's waterboarding.

Naturally, the WWE brain trust took one look at the show and thought "Yep. That's who we want representing our biggest PPV of the year".

The absurdly-monikered Snooki was given the honour, and was predictably bad with what little offense she was given. The jury's still out whether her handspring into the corner was meant to end in an elbow strike or hip attack, and the pathetically weak standing splash she finishes the contest with makes Snoop Dogg look like Rob Van Dam.

Still, bad as it was, it could have been worse. At least WWE managed to avoid putting a title on their célébrité du jour...
