10 Worst WrestleMania Title Matches Ever

2. Yokozuna Vs Hulk Hogan - WrestleMania 9

In the days before sneaky heels cashed in their Money In The Bank briefcase on tired champions, Hulk Hogan was the first to benefit from a the late title challenge. And his insulting 20 second WrestleMania 9 defeat of knackered new champion Yokozuna allowed him to gobble up all the spotlight yet again.

'Only' there to protest Bret Hart getting cheated out of the title by Fuji and Yoko minutes earlier, Hogan stormed the ring when challenged (with Hart's endorsement, naturally) and dropped his big leg for the immediate victory.

Fans went wild on the night, but it betrayed growing distaste bubbling under the surface.

It was spineless act of electioneering from 'The Hulkster', systematically destroying the two men the company had spent months trying to establish as new main eventers in his lofty shadow.

Designed to create a mammoth Hogan/Hart match at SummerSlam in August, Hulk rapidly changed his mind, left for Japan and returned to television once to cheaply drop the title to Yokozuna at June's King of the Ring pay-per-view.

Bret never got his match against Hogan, but the gradual sense of injustice that permeated through the audience strengthened 'The Hitman' more than the lousy job Hulk would have probably done in putting him over.
