1. Bobby Lashley Vs. Sami Zayn

Remember the conflicted look on Sami Zayn's face when he hauled Kevin Owens off the announce desk and saved him from being splatted by Shane McMahon at HIAC 2017? That was a first-ever heel turn for the man, and it was a bold step in his career that needed strong writing from WWE to make it work.

The next summer, he was putting Bobby Lashley through military obstacle courses and killing everyone with poorly-scripted promos that dragged.

Oh yes, there was also the infamous 'Bobby's Sisters' angle on the 21 May 2018 edition of Raw as well. What a bundle of joy that was, and it introduced the entire wrestling world to the painful childhoods Lashley put Jessica, Frances, and Cathy though. The whole thing was dreadful, and (making matters worse) Bobby didn't have the face charisma to laugh it off properly and get fans on side.

The actual match between Zayn and Lashley at Money In The Bank was one step too far for anyone who wanted to believe that Sami might have some success on Raw. With this one storyline, all the hard work WWE had put into realigning Zayn as a heel was ruined.
