10 Worst WWE Feuds Of 2020

2. Retribution Vs WWE

Count the ways this sucked until you're hoarse with deranged laughter and you'll still be trolled on Twitter by the wrestlers themselves or stan accounts mobilised by the self-referential tone the likes of Slapjack and T-Bar have been forced to take to try and make sense of this mess.

The very idea of a stable causing upheaval and damage to WWE on the inside and out was apparently a late-in-the-day pitch during a Raw taping that had descended into disorganised chaos the same day. The results of the alleged mania were the debuts of Raw Underground - a fight pit - and Retribution - quite sh*t.

Long after the echoes of Shane McMahon shouting "WHOA, SICK!" finally dispersed, this gang of nincompoops remained and are yet to achieve any of their vague objectives as of this writing. They loathed WWE to its core and then signed Raw contract. They promised physical and emotional decimation and then lost more matches than they won. Their obvious identities resulted in career-killing names just to give us all something to talk about before revealed leader Mustafa Ali (a fabulous worker and talker trying desperately to get this thing over) gaslit all of us for mocking them just as we supposedly mocked him.

We never did that. Not until he was in Retribution, anyway.
