10 Worst WWE Matches Of 2018

7. Jeff Hardy Vs Jinder Mahal (Greatest Royal Rumble)

WWE have made bang-average wrestling their currency in 2018. So much so in fact, that contests have to be critically calamitous - as is the case with the other nine shambolic sh*tshows within this list - or loaded with a botch so brutal it becomes the story not just of the match but the night itself.

Jinder Mahal can thank himself lucky that Titus O'Neil can't put one foot in front of the other.

Greatest Royal Rumble was the night of the "Worldsliiiiide" - the former Prime Time Player hitting the deck was enough of banter gif for WWE to make it themselves and save other social media accounts a bit of time. It gave Jinder Mahal the perfect escape hatch for the criminal bump he took from a completely missed Whisper In The Wind against United States Champion Jeff Hardy.

From a newcomer, greenhorn or rookie, this would have been an acceptable situation for a performer caught in panic. Jinder Mahal waived those rights when he welcomed his unearned WWE Championship reign a year earlier. 'The Modern Day Maharaja' lived by the sword that cut through many of his preferred peers then, and has died by the same one ever since.
