10 Worst WWE Matches Of 2020

7. Dexter Lumis Vs. Cameron Grimes - NXT November 18

"He's behind you!" doesn't work when there's barely any c*nt there and the fans that are in attendance are not allowed to chant all that much.

It wasn't quite an empty arena blindfold match, at least not technically so, but man was it the closest thing to a dumbsh*t oxymoron.

Dexter Lumis has scary eyes that frighten Cameron Grimes, who deserves a Hall of Fame induction for making all of this remotely entertaining. This is why the match happened after the equally awful Haunted House of Terrors affair at Halloween Havoc. The Hall of Fame means nothing, because it's unilaterally decided upon by Vince McMahon and Scott Steiner isn't in it, but you get the idea.

Cameron Grimes tried to ham it up and pitch a conniption fit to exploit his comedic skills, but to engineer this, to give Grimes the impression that it was in fact Lumis in close proximity, the referee had to inexplicably stand behind him. To reiterate: the referee was the only person in the match with the ability to see, and he found himself in harm's way.

Lumis didn't have to see - he has, apparently, a supernatural sixth sense - which doesn't explain his middling win/loss record.

An abomination of an idea that was somehow worse in delivery.
