2. Bray Wyatt Vs Randy Orton (WrestleMania 37)

There's nothing funny about a man's career possibly hanging in the balance yet again thanks to bad booking, but if we can safely assume that Bray Wyatt will be paying his bills on those Fiend Belt dollars for years, it might be okay to have a little laugh at this one.

If, somehow, you were invested in this angle, WWE were certainly laughing at you.

Those with memories long enough to remember their prior encounters may not have had massively high hopes for The Fiend and Randy Orton's most recent battle being some sort of classic. Expectations weren't high, but they were reasonably calibrated based on a six month storyline that generated some of the most intoxicatingly stupid sh*t in company history.

Orton burned The Fiend alive in December, had his own face brought to the flames in the months that followed, and no-sold all of that to hit his draping DDT and RKO for the win in less than six minutes. Or, quicker than he managed against a theoretically-less-threatening version of Wyatt at WrestleMania 33. Nothing matters, really, and WWE said as much here. Not getting that now is effectively on you.
