10 Worst WWE Pay-Per-Views Of The Ruthless Aggression Era

3. Judgment Day 2006

The 2006 World Title reign of Rey Mysterio was one of the most poorly booked World Title reigns of all time. Rey was never presented as a credible World Champion and his first PPV with the title was true testament to this. Rey would face JBL in the main event of the PPV. Sadly - it was presented as if Rey didn't have a chance to retain the title and was guaranteed to lose. The finish involved Rey drop kicking a chair into JBL's face and then followed it up by a 619 to win the match. The issue was that Rey had to cheat to win, meaning it didn't remotely present him as a credibly in any way shape or form.

The rest of the card was equally as poor. The Great Khali made his PPV debut defeating The Undertaker in one of The Undertaker's worst-ever matches. Mark Henry defeated Kurt Angle by count-out in yet another lacklustre affair between the two.

The undercard featured matches such as Jillian Hall vs Melina, Gregory Helms vs Super Crazy and Booker T vs Bobby Lashley. The 2006 edition of Judgment Day was truly one of the worst brand exclusive PPVs of all time and it would be the last ever brand exclusive Judgment Day in WWE history.
