10 Worst WWE PPV Matches Of 2020 (So Far)

Why? Why?! WHYYYYYYYYYYY!?

That's what some were thinking when WWE proudly announced that Elias would battle 'King' Corbin during the first night of 'Mania 36. Under normal circumstances, the match would never have made it onto such a card, but WWE needed as many feuds as they could to pad out multiple evenings.

So, this one was given nine minutes on the biggest pay-per-view of the year. It doesn't really matter that WrestleMania was a two-night affair - this simply shouldn't have been on the line up. It conjured up images of past 'Mania cards from the olden days. Back then, Vince McMahon would think nothing of stuffing his shows with exhibitions like Jimmy Snuka vs. Rick Rude from 'Mania VI or Tatanka vs. Rick Martel from 'Mania VIII.

This felt like that sort of skippable fluff. It wasn't WrestleMania (or even general pay-per-view) worthy, and it outstayed any welcome it did have big time. Nine minutes was far too long for a match that wouldn't even fit the post-TV SmackDown dark match main event spot.
