10 Worst WWE Royal Rumble Final Twos EVER

The first women's Royal Rumble was historic in many ways. Memorable though? Not so much.

The women's roster wasn't as swollen as it would eventually become over the next few years so had to pad out the numbers by bringing in a number of women from yesteryear: big names like Lita, Trish Stratus and Mickie James, and they also had room for Kelly Kelly I guess. A pair of names they had on speed dial that day were the Bella Twins, Nikki & Brie.

Neither of them had a chance of winning but that didn't stop the powers that be from having them eliminate iron-woman Sasha Banks and make it to the final three to take on the unstoppable Asuka, who was the bookie's choice to win the match. Once Nikki eliminated Brie (probably still sore about what happened in 2014), the former Diva's champion was left in the ring to battle the Empress of Tomorrow.

By the time Sasha was gone, all the tension went out of the air as the fans knew Asuka was going to run away with the victory. But the battle for victory between the final two was messy, particularly the final elimination spot. Asuka was prone on the ring apron and was meant to kick Nikki's legs out of her legs, knocking her to the floor. What actually happened was Asuka flailed her feet towards Nikki, missed by miles and Bella just fell off. A noticeable botch to spoil a worthy victory.
