10 WrestleMania 33 Shocks That Could Happen
5. Lesnar Squashes Goldberg
Now that he has officially retired from MMA, Brock Lesnar can go into WrestleMania without any trepidation. Many believe his final showdown with Goldberg will be for Raw's top prize in the Universal Title, and in this world of 50-50 booking we are unlikely to see Goldberg besting Brock for a third time.
That means in all likelihood Brock Lesnar will walk out of Orlando as Universal Champion. Though a part-time champion is not ideal for weekly television, Brock did his best work in years after capturing the WWE Title in 2014. How did that reign begin? With a barbaric squashing of John Cena.
We could be in for a similar start to Lesnar's next title reign, with a brutalising victory over Goldberg. Though it is unlikely to be as surprising as the events of Survivor Series, WWE would probably want to give Goldberg a token spear or two during their 'Mania match. Instead, WWE should book this match with the intention of re-building Lesnar's aura as the Beast Incarnate, retiring Goldberg in spectacularly violent fashion on the grandest stage of them all.
