Pitchforks at the ready.

Oh yes, a lot of fans will be seething at the thought of this. To them, John Cena stating that he hopes to win Elimination Chamber then challenge for the WWE Title at 'Mania during the post-Rumble press conference means that's guaranteed. Is it? Is it though? Triple H would likely give 'Big Match John' anything he wanted during this retirement run, but Cena showed he's a team player by going out last during the 30-man match and then toasting Jey Uso's success.

Keep your eyes on Logan Paul over the new few months too. He entered the Rumble as #30, worked for just over 11 minutes, then got tossed out over the top rope by Cena. This could be someone looking too much into one elimination, but...Logan isn't going to let anyone forget that, and he'll still be pitching hard backstage for a match with JC before the legend hangs up his jorts for good.

Some fans have an idea in their heads that it's win or bust for Cena at WrestleMania 41. That's a bit much. His retirement tour will last almost the entire year, so there's no rush to put that 17th World Title on the guy in April (assuming that's the ultimate plan so everyone can put Ric Flair's mythical 16 number to bed).

Hunter knows how much WWE fans detest Paul, and the heat could be worth it if those people think Logan is about to score a win over John during Cena's last 'Mania ever. That drama is everything. It'd be an easy way to get 'Super Cena' on the supercard.
