http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xF-Xr_An5b0 The last great women's wrestling match took place in 2006 at WrestleMania 22 when Mickie James defeated Trish Stratus. Since then? Not a lot of greatness. In fact, it's been a lot of bad matches. Here's the rundown. WM23 - Melina vs. Ashley in a 3 minute Lumberjill Match. Not good. WM24 - Beth Phoenix & Melina vs. Maria & Ashley in another Lumberjill Match. It was a bit better than the year before, but not by much. WM25 - Diva Battle Royal won by Santina. Painful just thinking about this atrocity. One of the worst WM matches ever. WM26 - 10 diva tag. Heel team won in about three minutes. Felt rushed. Odd to see a heel win there. WM27 - 6 person mixed tag with Snooki. Another short match at about 3 minutes. I kept yelling "refund" when Snooki was in there. WM28 - Kelly Kelly/Maria Menounos vs. Beth Phoenix/Eve. This was actually one of the longer divas matches at about 7 minutes. Was not very good although Menounos was okay for a celebrity. WM29 - No divas match at all. Why is it so hard for WWE to book a good match for the women at WrestleMania? A little effort would be nice.
