8. Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole As A Major Match At WrestleMania 27
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9NghgpC0_o In terms of television time used to build up matches at WrestleMania 27, it's fair to say that Michael Cole versus Jerry Lawler was one of the four biggest matches at WrestleMania 27. It's also painful to say that considering how bad of a match it was. This was such a disaster from the get go. Cole in a match was a bad move. You would figure this would be some five minute squash win for Lawler. Nope. They got about 14 minutes. Not only that, but the whole segment from start to finish went around 25 minutes. It was such a mess. What WWE should have done was have Jack Swagger (Cole's trainer) take on Jerry Lawler because then the match could have been decent and you still could have done all the theatrics with Steve Austin hitting the Stunner on everybody. Even Stone Cold Steve Austin couldn't save this atrocity. It was one of those moments you don't want to talk about when speaking about his legendary career It's sad that Jerry Lawler's only WrestleMania match was this atrocity. WWE should have found a way to include him on one of the WrestleMania events in the mid 1990s when they didn't have strong cards and a heel like him could have had a big role.
