2. Kurt Angle - Pain & Gain

Like many of his peers, Kurt Angle attempted to break into acting after leaving the WWE and made the most of his lighter schedule in TNA by starring in a number of movies. While the majority of these were straight to DVD releases - such as Sharknado 2, River of Darkness and Wrestlers Vs. Zombies - he did pick up the odd role that made headlines.

In 2011, Angle starred in the hit Tom Hardy movie, Warrior. In the movie, Angle played Koba, the undefeated Russian MMA fighter loosely based on Fedor Emelianenko. While it was a memorable role, Angle's biggest movie to date would come when he reunited with old friend, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

The role itself was dramatically smaller than Koba, however, the movie itself was a huge hit at the box office. Playing a small part as a prison thug in flashback scene, Angle once again tussles with The Rock in this brief cameo appearance, taking a iron weight plate to the face for his troubles.

A "blink and you'll miss it" appearance by Angle but a subtle nod to Johnson's wrestling past and cool little Easter Egg for fans of the Attitude Era.
