10 Wrestlers So Good They Changed Vince McMahon's Mind

To help visualise this rare phenomena, of Vince changing his mind, think of it like that meme of Vince ejaculating in his chair.

When he first clasped eyes on Mean Mark Callous, he was distinctly unimpressed with his performance against Lex Luger at the 1990 Great American Bash. "It wasn’t like you were gonna get a great match out of Luger," Bruce Prichard recounted to WrestlingInc. "Mark had dislocated his hip and he still worked the match because I said "Hey listen, Vince is watching. Time to put your working boots on.""

The match was actually pretty good - the raw hoss displayed great timing and athleticism to evade a charging lariat - but Vince wasn't a fan. "Vince just saw a tall, redheaded basketball player," Prichard noted. A face-to-face meeting changed Vince's mind, and indeed the very trajectory of his company.

So Vince was initially nonplussed. When he saw Undertaker master the art of presence almost immediately, he looked around with tentative interest.

When 'Taker steadied tumbling business as an awesome special attraction, Vince's eyes opened white.

When 'Taker put on his working boots in the mid-90's, a flash of pleasure crept on his face.

When 'Taker evolved into a super-worker and a stadium-sized draw, Vince threw back his head in a hammy, orgasmic frenzy.

He's a Republican! Who will put his body through your awful grinder for 29 years! He will half-kill Diamond Dallas Page, just for once wrestling in WCW! He'll drop out of Starrcast and spoken word tours, purely so you can spite the competition and his most hardcore fans, who you seem to resent!

CROSS-EYED MONEY SHOT!
