10 Wrestlers That Got BANNED From AEW

5. Eric Bischoff

After that brain-melting scenario, here's something a little more simple: Eric Bischoff doesn't like Tony Khan, and vice versa. Well, Bisch would claim via his '83 Weeks' show that he doesn't have anything personally against Tony, and Khan would presumably say the same if asked in a presser, but they've had plenty of online run-ins over the years.

The weird thing here is that Bischoff has spoken highly of AEW, and he does actually give the promotion some credit on his pods. That's rarely reported on though, because the negativity is so much juicier. Those who properly listen to the pod episodes will know that there's actually more balance than you'll read in news headlines or even on socials.

Eric has praised AEW for providing talent with another place to make money and work, and he's cited moves like producing international stadium shows in London, England as monster ideas. He just...doesn't think that Khan is a very good creative mind, and he's been irked by some of the things Tony has said about his time in charge of WCW, Ted Turner and more.

Further, between 2020-2021, Bischoff also appeared on AEW TV as a cameo character/legend. It's unlikely he'll ever do so again, especially when so much has been fired back and forth between he and Khan on X and in various interviews. AEW probably have no desire to bring Eric in for much nowadays anyway - what purpose would it serve to pound that cameo gig into dust?

Somebody needs to get these guys in a room for a hand shake and a friendly exchange or for an argumentative face to face. Film it, if it's the latter!
