10 Wrestlers That Seriously Took The Piss

5. Triple H

SummerSlam 2003 Elimination Chamber Triple H Goldberg

Most of the times Triple H retained his precious World Heavyweight Championship between 2002 and 2005, he was pretty much taking the piss.

'The Game' had overseen a period the company will now historically call "challenging", but one that could be realistically framed as a bit of a f*cking nightmare. Viewers disappeared, buy rates diminished and stars felt in short supply as Vince McMahon went looking for the John Cena he eventually found.

Hunter was dependable and soon-to-be married in, and what a lethal combination that was for midcarders that dared to step to the throne of the 'King Of Kings'. The remainder of this list could be filled with entries thanks to the treatment Rob Van Dam, Kane and especially Booker T, but on this occasion it's going to be Goldberg's 2003 burial brought back around for another quick kicking.

"Quick kicking" fairly fitting, considering that's all he could take in the match too. Injured but figuring out a way to keep his title for another month to build a singles match destined to stink, Hunter spent the whole SummerSlam Elimination Chamber main event in a pod watching Goldberg finally work as Goldberg.

Big Bill speared the entire field but succumbed to a sledgehammer shot to send the fans home bored yet again. He looked knackered when forced to go 15 drab minutes the following month.
