AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura were two of the keys to New Japan's success in 2014 and 2015, but their paths never crossed - until Wrestle Kingdom 10. That evening, the dream match between the two men became reality as they battled tooth and nail for Nakamura's IWGP Intercontinental Championship.

Styles went into the contest with a back injury, and Nakamura targeted "The Phenomenal One's" soft spot. Nevertheless, Styles stayed in contention and used his incredible athleticism to bounce back into contention. In one memorable spot, Nakamura locked a triangle choke on Styles, but "The Phenomenal One" stood up and turned it into a Styles Clash. He was only able to pin one of Nakamura's arms, though, and "The King of Strong Style" kicked out.

Nakamura ended up winning with two beautiful Boma Yes, and the rivals shared a fist bump after the match. Within a month, both were gone from New Japan, but they've already become among the most acclaimed talents in WWE. It's a virtually certainty that Styles and Nakamura will have a rematch on American soil within the next 12 months, and a whole new group of fans will see why they should fight forever.
