10 Wrestlers Who Are Way Too REAL For WWE

1. Jon Moxley

Eddie Kingston family
AEW

Well, the proof is in the pudding with this one, as we know that Moxley's energetic and badass style works best in edgier promotions. We also have years worth of evidence that his brand of realistic promos and dangerous match-ups were way too real for what WWE was willing to offer.

The former AEW World Champion found his way in the business through the dangerous and frightening world of hardcore wrestling, just like Nick Gage. He found the most success in this whilst working at CZW but was soon whisked away to the land of the giants in WWE. The rest is history.

WWE never seemed like the right place for Moxley, as his free-spirited energy, aggressive in-ring style and rugged aesthetic went against the company mould. Although he did find championship gold and mainstream appeal thanks to The Shield, it was only a matter of time before his affair with sports entertainment came to an end.

Simply put, Moxley isn't a sports entertainer. He's a real dude who likes to go out there and be himself, which is why he's best suited outside of Stamford.
