Neville's WWE status is still unclear. The longer it drags on, the more ominous his dispute with the promotion seems, and there's no light at the end of the tunnel. This man breathed new live into the ailing Cruiserweight division by turning heel in late-2016 and cut the promos of his life for months afterwards. What happened?

That remains a mystery, and it's one that sucks for fans who were enjoying seeing someone so talented finally find his spot in WWE. Now, Neville has to contend with the idea of repairing a fractured relationship with those who hold his destiny in their hands.

It's not looking good.

The Englishman hasn't been on television since October last year. That's a hell of a long time to be out in the cold when you work for a company known for moving on quickly. Has Neville looked at others, like Cody Rhodes, and wondered if he could be happier outside the machinery?
