10 Wrestlers Who Could Win Their First World Championship In 2020

Adam Page’s budding career as a professional wrestler was forever changed by his integration into Bullet Club’s Elite. Befriending Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks and Cody, Page became a rising underdog star in New Japan and a major character in the Bullet Club civil war angle in 2018.

Athletic and full of promise, Page felt like someone who may one day transform into a superstar more than being one in the present. This was reflected in his rather weak booking at last year’s G1 (a measly 6 points with one of those wins coming by DQ no less) In AEW however, the booking team (The Elite in one of their many multi-role feats in AEW) has begun to position him as a wrestling prodigy just waiting to explode onto the main event scene.

A part of the first ever AEW World Title match against boozy leather enthusiast Chris Jericho, Page put on a hard hitting main event and looked strong in defeat. With an imminent heel turn on Kenny Omega looking more and more likely, 2020 could be the year AEW send one of their newer stars to the top of the card.
