In May 1995, the WWF ran its first ever In Your House Pay-Per-View.

Matches on this card included a main event of Diesel vs. Sid for the world title, Bret Hart taking on Hakushi, and a 2-on-1 Handicap match pitting Razor Ramon against Jeff Jarrett and The Roadie.

The Bad Guy was able to best his two foes, but received a post-match beatdown for his troubles.

Thankfully, Ramon had friends in the crowd that night.

An unknown man leapt the barricade and chased Jarrett and The Roadie off. Later in the night, Ramon introduced his mystery saviour as Savio Vega, one of his childhood friends.

Vega had previously competed in the WWF as the masked Kwang, but this was the first time we'd ever seen his face.

Savio was thrust into a high-profile storyline following his debut, when he made it to the finals of the King of the Ring tournament in 1995. Vega was a last-minute replacement for Ramon, but wasn't able to stop the villainous Mabel from capturing the crown.

He then went on to form the Puerto Rican stable, Los Boricuas, and was Steve Austin's first ever WrestleMania opponent.

His childhood friend must have been so proud.
