10 Wrestlers Who Deserve A Big Push After WWE Royal Rumble 2018

4. Bayley

WWE don't know what they have in Bayley. In NXT, she was an invaluable babyface commodity with a rare ability to connect with younger audience members, but now? She's a joke. Bayley's popularity has been eroded by a year of shoddy booking, throughout which she was continually presented as an overawed dork, and the worst kind of "gee, shucks!" babyface, resulting in an epic slide down the rankings.

The former NXT Women's Champion did nothing in the Rumble, either. Entering at number 29, she was barely in the ring for five minutes before Sasha Banks nonchalantly threw her over the top. We can only hope that WWE pivot this into a feud with a heel 'Boss,' because otherwise, it was a total waste.

Said storyline could be the perfect way to rehabilitate Bayley ahead of WrestleMania 34, and it's something WWE have been teasing for a long time. Have Banks embrace her own, villainous role by turning on her 'best friend,' leading towards a big one-on-one clash in New Orleans. A win there wouldn't quite erase all the damage done since Bayley joined the main roster, but making her look strong throughout such a feud would be a great start.
