10 Wrestlers Who Deserve A Big Push After WWE Royal Rumble 2018

2. Sasha Banks

Coming out of a truly rotten 2017 that saw her pushed to the fringes of Raw's women's division, Sasha Banks had an excellent night at the Royal Rumble.

Not only was she the iron woman, but much of the bout was built around her big-time confrontations with the likes of Asuka and the returning Trish Stratus, with her old heel persona coming out to play towards the end. This made her one of the bout's biggest standouts, but the follow-up is critical.

Turning would suit Sasha well. 'The Boss' has always been more convincing as a villain, but while WWE have delivered countless teases, they've never pulled the trigger. Granted, she'd face stiff competition from Alexa Bliss for the title of Raw's top heel, but we can't think of a better antagonist for the likes of Asuka and Bayley.

Banks lost a close match to 'The Empress Of Tomorrow' on this weeks Raw, but delivered the kind of high-risk performance only she can. This failing, coupled with her turning on Bayley in the Rumble, could provide the catalyst for a major heel run, during which she'd ideally be reinstated as the division's alpha.
