10 Wrestlers Who Got Pissed Off At Critics

3. Chris Jericho

Put a microphone in Chris Jericho's hand, and he's one of the greatest of all time. Put a bottle of grey goose in the f*cker, and he's even funnier.

Chris Jericho is a multi-millionaire legendary pro wrestling superstar who can boast an unrivalled achievement: nobody, in the post-cable age of the game and its visibility from which its talent can't hide, can claim to have been as entertaining for as long while also working to such an incredible in-ring standard. One might think he'd have developed a thicker skin, but he hasn't, and honestly, it's piss funny. That's a YMMV take - others might reasonably believe that it's a petulant and thus off-putting look - but when Jericho responds with "Go f*ck your ass, c*nt" to a Twitter troll, that is surely undeniable catharsis.

He was at it years before Twitter was a thing, too; following a damn good opener with Rob Van Dam at King Of The Ring 2002, Jericho took to his website to fire back at various fans who shrugged at his performance on PWTorch.

"If you didn’t like it, then stop watching me and stop watching the WWE and take up bowling, cause you will never like anything we give you," Jericho wrote.

"I am now finished with the internet," he also claimed. This wasn't true.

And thank Christ for that, else we'd have missed out on his ill-advised late-nite Brock Lesnar burials.
