Seth Rollins had an absolute 'mare in 2019 when, confronted by widespread, furious piss-taking at the sheer state of WWE's Wild Card Two out of Three Falls bullsh*t, he declared it "the best damn pro wrestling on the planet, period," ahead of Stomping Grounds. This was a show on which WWE delivered a boring and contrived Rollins Vs. Baron Corbin main event that plagiarised - terribly - a match from 19 years ago, somewhat proving the notion that WWE was out of ideas.

He put over the company's in-ring and his own, drawing a veritable legion of mystified and bemused wrestling fans - not to RAW, obviously, but to his replies. Rollins was pissed, and spent most of the year in a state of abject fury, burying Jon Moxley for his criticisms of WWE and playing a well-actually reply guy in response to criticisms over the iconically disastrous Hell In A Cell main event.

He also has previous with preeminent critic Dave Meltzer, although, in an Onion headline made real, he had the better of him when it turned out Uncle Dave hadn't sourced what was ultimately a bullsh*t report about Seth holding a "rah-rah" meeting backstage.

That was presumptuous of Dave, but Rollins didn't tweet that because he doesn't know what the word means.
