10 Wrestlers Who Have Changed The Most Since AEW Launched

8. Jungle Boy

Chris Jericho
AEW

Despite debuting at AEW's inaugural Double or Nothing pay-per-view (25 May 2019), Jungle Boy didn't score his first win until 8 January 2020, when Jurassic Express triumphed over The Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent?) and Orange Cassidy.

Initially, Jungle Boy was booked as a solid tag team talent, who was occasionally given the chance to impress but ultimately fall short in singles competition.

Jungle Boy went almost a year in AEW without picking up a singles win, defeating Peter Avalon on an episode of Dark (20 May 2020). Regardless, the mismatched tandem with Luchasaurus was one of the joys of the first year of AEW.

A combination of a TNT Championship match against Cody, winning the Casino Battle Royale at Double or Nothing 2021, and Jurassic Express tangling with The Elite, Inner Circle, and The Pinnacle, has allowed Jungle Boy to prove he is top card talent.

In a short time, Jungle Boy has proven his worth as a solo star, tag team talent, and even that he can handle the often chaotic trio dynamics. While title gold, for now at least, is elusive, it's hard to argue with MJF's assessment that Jungle Boy is a pillar of AEW.
