Just like his younger brother, The Undertaker had no qualms about trashing wrestling rings. ‘Taker dragged many a wrestler through the canvas, and brought the trend into the modern era by disappearing on ‘The Big Red Machine’, then pulling him through the ring on an October 2010 episode of SmackDown. Diesel also met the same fate while wrestling Bret Hart in 1996, when ‘The Deadman’ yanked ‘Big Daddy Cool’ into the abyss, then emerged through a cloud of smoke.

Perhaps The Undertaker’s most notable example of ring destruction came at SummerSlam 2008, however. He and Edge were engaged in one of the year’s best feuds, and the met inside Hell In A Cell at the pay-per-view. Edge put up a spirited fight, but eventually fell to a Tombstone Piledriver, but ‘Taker wasn’t finished, and set two ladders up following the bell.

Taking Edge to the top of the ladders, The Undertaker gave his trademark cut-throat gesture, then obliterated ‘The Rated R Superstar’ with one of the biggest Chokeslams of his career. Edge went clean through the canvas, and the hole burst into flames shortly after, rubber-stamping 'Taker's most conclusive victory over one of his greatest rivals.
