7. KISS Demon's "Main Event" Run

Perhaps the biggest shocker here is that it's taken a few entries for the mayhem of WCW to roar into view. The wait is over, because everyone needs to hear about that time rockstar extraordinaire Gene Simmons worked a deal with Eric Bischoff that offered precisely nothing on the wrestling side of things.

No, he didn't suggest putting the title on Tank Abbott.

Instead, WCW inked a deal with the KISS frontman and agreed to introduce a wrestler in his likeness. This 'KISS Demon' had one major provision in his contract too. Specifically, he needed to work a certain number of main event matches on company programming, including pay-per-views. How would they get out of this one, you wonder?

Simmons' creation worked "Special Main Events" a few times. That was it - that was WCW's out. These bogus headline attractions meant they could put the Demon on fourth and still honour Gene-o's deal.
