10 Wrestlers Who May Have Wrestled Their Last Match

In another case of a ridiculously talented star with many excellent years ahead of them being dealt a rather crappy hand lately, AEW's Adam Cole has been pretty much entirely absent from Tony Khan's product since picking up a nasty concussion at the Forbidden Door PPV.

And while many were left hoping that it would only be a matter of time before the former NXT Champion would be fully cleared to shock the system once more, recent reports seem to hint at things being far more seriously than fans first thought.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer (via WrestlingInc), while there could be a chance Cole could find himself being cleared tomorrow, there's also a world where it "could be never."

It is worth noting how the star himself has been teasing his return to action on Twitter quite a bit in recent times, with Cole recently posting out an image with the caption "You didn’t come this far to only come this far…" on his account.

But with concussions being a pretty complicated injury to navigate at the best of times, here's hoping that Cole is given a positive update or two going forward.
