6. Dean Ambrose Also Goes Viral

As if Dean Ambrose's long-term injury in 2018 wasn't gnarly enough - around 50% of the Lunatic Fringe's triceps was sheared clean from the bone - he was further waylaid by a serious staph infection post-surgery - so serious it nearly killed him.

Dean spared no details recounting the ordeal. "It was just one nightmare after another. I was in hospital for a week plugged up to this antibiotic drip, and I was on all these antibiotics which make you crap and puke your pants."

Despite coming perilously close to losing his arm, and worse still, his life, Ambrose made an incredible return in August. What's more, he was in the best shape of his career.
