10 Wrestlers Who Personify Why WWE Had To Scour The Indies
2. Jack Swagger
To this day, Jim Ross still claims that Jack Swagger has a "tremendous upside". Another phrase often used to the describe the man is, "limitless potential". By 2015, surely people should no longer be talking about potential when it comes to Swagger. At this point, it's fair to say that the man would have made it as a WWE main event star by now, if he was ever going to at all. Most recently, Swagger has been seen as a future challenge for Alberto Del Rio and the WWE United States Title. Whilst this is a fine interim feud for Del Rio, it's not one that's likely to really inspire excitement in fans. That's the main issue with Jack Swagger - he's not exactly the most riveting or charismatic guy. His in-ring performances are fine, but they're far from the best on the roster, either, so it's not like he can get by on pure ability alone. Newcomers such as Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens have blown him out of the water in every category. It's unlikely that Swagger will ever become a World Champion again. The ship has sailed on that one. In 2010, his big push to the top didn't work out, and it's so much less likely to work out in 2015 and beyond. Odds are he'll be future endeavoured before he main events a WWE show again.
